I have that kit and built it at 1/33, like all of Roman's kits everything fit nicely, so it wasn't daunting at all. It's a fun one to show people, they get a chuckle out of it.

Beautiful job Patrick. The scales look great.

Good afternoon,
does Roman still post on this list? I would love to do the Nieuport Flying fish in 1/48 scale but he is not listed on the ECard site, can anyone tell me how to get a download of this model?
Thanks
Dave C

One of the really wonderful things I enjoy about this forum are the hidden gems that appear from time to time, typically ending in a history lesson for me.

I found on really nice photo of The Flying Fish on the official website for the United States Air Force. It appears at least one more aircraft wore a similar design.

Who makes the best digital Nieuport 17 in 1/33 scale currently available? Marek? Creating The Flying Fish might serve as a good learning project.

Here is the other flying fish, which I believe is called Jazzbo, the pilot was David Funk.

Thank you for that information, Burning Beard!

Here are two more pictures of Jazzbo, a Nieuport 27, from the Wikipedia Commons:

Roman's models are available at https://kampfflieger.ecwid.com/

The flying fish Nieuport is at https://kampfflieger.ecwid.com/Aviation-c404881 (Column 1, fifth model down).

Roman is also a member of this Forum (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/m...pfflieger.html) and you can send him a private message at http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/p...?do=newpm&u=62

I just ordered and took delivery of the flying fish Nieuport and another model and exchanged emails with Roman, so you should have no problem obtaining the model.

Just bought a copy, what a beautiful paint graphic.

Been planning a Nieuport 17 for rubber band power, might do the Jazzbo as the paint scheme. Big Eddie Rickenbacker fan, was planning to do his Nieuport 28.
