1/72 scale LaGG 3 by PTA...

I really like this aircraft. it has received some mixed reviews and it's reputation has suffered. in some ways, it was ahead of the times. it was used effectively. here is a photo of my Galachenko version. apparently he scored well with the type on the northern front. i'm working on the directions now... it will be available in summer or winter coloring, though the Galachenko version will not be listed, you may request it for free...

I have always liked this airplane and have long wanted to build the 1/50 Marek versions. I look forward to your version. By the way, it can also be produced in Japanese markings -- there are photographs of a captured LaGG in such markings, along with a Brewster Buffalo and a Douglas DC-5.

Nice cat, too!

Just bought 'em all! Now, will I ever get any of them built?
