Hi Ron! Do you have any suggestions?

Udet flew a lovely red one with his girlfriend's nickname LO! on the side - a scheme similar to the SSW D.III he briefly flew. Goring flew a red/blue one. There are some nice renderings here http://www.wwi-models.org/Images/Tho...ker/index.html I haven't gone through my printed material but there seem to be plenty of schemes on the net. I have no preferences - I just love the "circus" colors of the WWI birds.

Here is another excellent site http://www.cbrnp.com/
Look under Profiles, 1900-1925 for some excellent D.VII schemes (as well as many other aircraft). |

Neat site - I particularly like the bottom Mustang on this page - http://www.cbrnp.com/profiles/quarter2/mustangs.htm . I think it'd give your dogfight opponents a headache!
