Very nice looking model Roman. Got mine via email today and can't wait to build it.

Very nice !!! but I don't understand how I can get it. I don't have a forum, blog or another site to advertise the model. :(

I just sent off an email asking the same question as Alcides.

Can those of us without blogs, forums, or websites simply pay for it?

@Kampflieger, I like your models but I think it is going a little too far asking people to post on other forums. Either give the model or don't. Just my opinion, I could be wrong, it just seems like a long continuing commercial. If you going to do that why not pay for a banner advertisement in this forum?

Luis, Don - just place information about this models in ANY site, blog or forum Is it acceptable for you?

Zathros - Sentinel is non-commercial project I know 3-4 forums, but other people know more, so I use knowlege of others to distribute non-commercial model for as many people as possible

I think Roman is asking the same thing a he did with the 'Lost Eagles' book, send him a personal e-mail, the worst thing what can happen to you is that you'll end up in his mailing-list...

Actually, this kind of marketing is becoming quite common with affiliate programs and such. Offer free stuff in exchange for advertising or written reviews. A friend I know recently got an all-expenses paid trip to a BIG SONY convention in CA and was given a bunch of new cameras and gear just for doing some blogging reviews. It's a nice capitalistic way to promote your sales. Remember, people have to find ways to make money so they can eat! The worst thing that can come out of something like this is either people get their secret Marxist feelings going and think they deserve something for nothing, or Roman gets more traffic to his site and is able to afford to spend more time designing models that people want! I'll take the later!

BTW, Per an email conversation with Roman, I may be offering some variants in different markings for sale at some point in the near future on the http://www.lbirds.com website. I'm in touch with a guy who's writing a definitive book on the L-5 and have been collecting some different photos of the aircraft in interesting markings or settings.

I have no objection to passing the word on this nice model. My question was just to make sure I could find a way to get a copy!

I think Roman has been providing a great service by making the excellent Kampfflieger models available and by occasionally making free models available.

Ryan -- I will definitely be interested in any alternate variations and hope that one of them will be a Korean War version. You probably already have plenty of info, but I can get some photos of Army KoWar L-5s from the Military History Institute collection. The Marines also used the L-5 in Korea.

I'd like to do some of those, but have to figure out first how to make the rear fuselage for the later L-5 variant. I'm having some trouble with the file, and can't get it to work with my Sketchup program. I can open the file in TurboCad, but want to do it in Sketchup with Waybe.
