Canadian Hercs! C-130 Hercules by Airdave
Two new Hercs for the collection are now available at ecardmodels.
For the Canadian fans, one of the very first Hercules flown by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF is now part of the Canadian Armed Forces) This CC-130 carries the first RCAF paint scheme  no fancy extras with this, just a basic C-130 with pretty colours!   [pictured model is a prototype...I have since fixed the droopy lettering!] ....................................... and for fans of more current liveries, I offer up the CAF CC-130 in a more recent "low visibility"grey paint scheme.  I kinda like the two tone grey on grey...kinda like "ghost flames" on a chopper! This particular livery from '08 also includes the 50th anniversary NORAD emblem on the tail. Dutch hmmm need to look for some pics.
Just don't suggest any more camo liveries! lol I have two standing requests for Camo version (Viet Nam era, and Israeli) both of which are causing a lot of hair pulling! I can't guaranty I will ever get them done.

haha yeah
when I first did the lettering on the fuselage I was working from a photo that appeared to show the stripe and lettering drop as it neared the cockpit. I didn't like it, but I followed along. Then, as I collected more photos, it became obvious that the stripe dips but the lettering doesn't. Just some optical illusion in that one photo. (The curve and taper of the forward fuselage doesn't help either) So...I fixed

have you ever seen the camo for the Nigerian Airforce Dave that they got on theirs. Not a suggestion for a reclour dave by the way just thought it looked interesting.

I wonder how colour accurate that photo is? just as I thought... here is a better photo I think
