Beautiful!! I had a friend who owned one of these for a while, a strange aircraft, it has automotive type controls! Very nice indeed! What did you model this in, and is it going to be available?

That was much of the idea -- as easy to fly as driving a car, i.e., "Air Coupe." Back when I was a kid, I heard about several people who owned Ercoupes. The general instructions were: Get it up to 100mph on the runway, Lift off and fly at 100mph, Then Land at 100mph.

This one brings back a memory or three...I must have built a half-dozen of the Comet stick-and-tissue models of the Erocoupe while growing up.

Hi!

Looks very nice!
I have seen couple of those airplanes in real, but couldn't find any proper plans/drawings. Wishing your project all the best!

I'm glad to see this one taking shape. The first plastic model I ever built was a pale green Ercoupe. Back in the 1950s and 60s they were fairly common at local airfields in Baltimore. In the 90s, a friend owned one and I had a little time at the controls (as previously mentioned, no rudder pedals).

I hope you will be making this one available. One guaranteed sale here.

Don

Hi
I see this airplane by FG models with a lot of information, include drawings and specifications.
