I have just released a paper globe based on the gores by G. M. Cassini
published in Rome in 1790.

This globe is a work of brilliance.
It is very interesting to see a re-creation of a globe of that era.
A piece of "living history" as it were.

Very beautiful model. Thanks for adding all of the historical notes on your website. I truly enjoy the history almost as much as the models.

I'm trying to decide who I'm going to give this one to. Thank you.

There were a lot of blank spaces on the map back then.
Where I live now was at the edge of the "civilized" world.
