There was an attempt in Russia or Ukraine to produce much modernized version of AN-2 with composites,Turboprop etc.I don't know if it went anywhere.Poland stopped making them long ago,I don't think China builds them anymore,they sure still overhaul and modify them.

BTW-speculation is that N.Korean AN-2s are not new manufacture.Parts of them are.Than again N.Koreans have enough of them to justify manufacture of whole new ones.

Now available freshly refreshed is the O-2 Skymaster, currenty in 4 versions, with 2 more on the way.

Forward Air Controller, US Army VIP, Cactus Air Force, and Cal Fire are ready now.



The Civilian 337, and Navy Range Control versions are still in process.

And yes, someone did try one on floats . But we won't talk about that, will we .


For a Cessna twin, I am still hoping for a Bobcat - comes in yellow and also on floats and skis .

I may just sell a couple sets of floats for people to put under their model. 747 on floats? Why not.

June's new model is the Xi'an Y-20 Kunpeng, a Chinese Transport prototype that's still in development. We'll see if it goes mainstream, or needs to be moved to the "Failed Prototype" section.
