There was an attempt in Russia or Ukraine to produce much modernized version of AN-2 with composites,Turboprop etc.I don't know if it went anywhere.Poland stopped making them long ago,I don't think China builds them anymore,they sure still overhaul and modify them.
BTW-speculation is that N.Korean AN-2s are not new manufacture.Parts of them are.Than again N.Koreans have enough of them to justify manufacture of whole new ones. |

June's new model is the Xi'an Y-20 Kunpeng, a Chinese Transport prototype that's still in development. We'll see if it goes mainstream, or needs to be moved to the "Failed Prototype" section.
