Don

For all things Canuckery military aviation, Patrick Martin's 3 books are to me the go-to sources for post-WW2. Highly recommended.

That was my favorite Air Canada theme. We had a CRJ-900 that came in periodically with that paint theme. I called it the "Bandit scheme".

I'm saving that one for the CRJ-900 model when I get it done. I might do the E-Jet in what I used to call the "Mint Scheme"

It doesn't show up well in the pics, but the color is a nice pale mint green color.

If that's what I think it is, you might want to hold off a bit:

Though, is it just me, or does the front end seem a bit longer than a normal 707?

And finally is a new model that grabbed my attention. In honor of our own Sir Don, I present the Dehavilland DH.93 Don, a 1930's British Trainer / Liaison aircraft.

The turreted Don is in progress, I just have to figure out what color to make it:
Murph's Models newest releases-74-2.jpg No idea except either brownish or black
Murph's Models newest releases-1434597935726.jpg Yellow?
Murph's Models newest releases-1434597935536.jpg Bright areas are aluminum, dark areas brown? (It had stressed plywood skin)

De Havilland really had beautiful aircraft. Can we possibly expect a few more DH aircraft?

Got my copy, really nice design.
