I just happen to stay up all night last night building a 1/100 scale 737-700 for the local airport administration. I gave it to them this morning without getting any pictures of the model first. That's what I get for not sleeping. I will try to get it back for some photos later this week.
Mr. Sitorus, your model looks very well designed. It's the first I've seen in this scale with flaps. I have downloaded it and look forward to building it. Thank you for freely giving your design to the group. |

Then I will wait, please let us know when. I've got a couple of friends in the model train world that want to model the fuselage transport trains, but can't find suitable models to use. You might have some ready-made customers with this one!

It's not done up in any airline colors. The local airport has a "FlyVPS" ad campaign so I used their logo for the tail and on the engines. They put up billboards all over town with their logo on a 737 and I used that as inspiration. It looks like they took an AirTran photo and changed the green color to blue, and posted their logo on the tail. The curious thing is that 737's don't fly into the airfield, just EMB-145, CR-200, Boeing 717 and Airbuses.
Apologies for highjacking the thread. |
