Will check finances and see if I can order! Plus maybe one of JSC kits with a couple of small ships - the Swedish or Polish ships. Use it to try and get my hand in........
i actually find jsc method of hull construction the easiest of all commercial models,if you like modern they have a great model of hms invincible also/give you more airwing practise.scaldis also have a couple of their 1;400 models rescaled to 1;250,i have built many of jsc liners and can recommend them
link to large scale jsc models on scaldis page is
BOUWPLATEN UITGEVERIJ SCALDIS

about two thirds way down page

I just got this model. Herky, did you finish her civilian version? There are no pics or construction diagrams of the civilian version, and I'm not sure how to place the containers. All it says is "pile up containers and glued to deck"!
Any pics of the ACL version greatly appreciateed.

Hi Vince - the containers simply go lengthwise down the vessel. Starting from just after the foremast.

Hi Vince,
sending you some photos - one of Atlantic Conveyor, and two of her sister ship Atlantic Cinderella. You can see how the containes are placed there.
regards,
Kasia, JSC

Thanks for the pics, they help clear it up.
JSC, in your next revision of the model, it would be great if you could include a deck plan diagram of the box configuration (like the deck plan that has the aircraft positions). Or, a picture like your # 2 photo on the back cover. Or, since revisions are expensive, maybe put that picture on your website with the other pics of the Conveyor.
