New HMV models - the HMV thread

Hi everybody!

We just received this brand new HMV model kit from our printers. Five Norwegian Pilot cutter from 1900 to today. It starts with a typical cutter of the early 20th century under sails. Followed by LOS 078 - a boat with a fresh green deck from 1973. Almost modern are LOS 098 and LOS 101 which are from 1980 and 1993. The pilot cutter as used today in Norway are well represented with the LOS 120. Also in the kit is a sixth boat - the LOS 121 which is a sistership to LOS 120. The Lasercut Set is almost finished and will be available in a few days.

Lighthouses of Australia - new at HMV

Hi guys,

These last weeks have been so incredibly busy for us that we didn't even get around to prensent our new models properly. But I'm going to do this now:

The model kit Lighthouses of Australia is the first of many of a new series about Lighthouses of the world in our collectors scale 1/250. This new model includes four Australian lighthouses: Byron Bay, Hornby in Sydney, Cape Green, and Tacking Point. Those four fine models will captivate you with their details, precision, and of course the well known HMV love for accuracy. All four lighthouses have a base - Byron Bay even including part of the cliff it sits on. Also included are four cars which will perfectly match the Surfer and Hippie town Byron Bay.

The Lasercut Set is already designed and waits to go into our Lasercutter. It will be published soon!

Lighthouses of Australia is available for 16,99 Euro at fentens papermodels in Europe and our partners worldwide. For our HMV friends in the US and Australia we have good news, too. The model will be available through fentens Australia and amazon US soon.

S.M.S. Nassau - Imperial German Navy

Hi everybody,

After many years of planning and research and more than three years of designing we finally release the German ship of the line S.M.S. Nassau. As always the model comes in the collectors scale 1/250, is highly detailed and of course very precise.

Udo Kallina designed this wonderful model and with more than 4,000 parts you won't miss any details. Actually it wasn't easy to do the research for this project as there are not many proper plans of this ship around. Lucky for us we got our hands on some material that is officially not available and that allowed us to do this model in highest HMV standard.

We're working on the Lasercut Set right now and it should be published in January.

We offer the S.M.S. Nassau for a special subscription price of 49.99 Euro until the end of this year. The price from January on will be 55 Euro.

Of course HMV models are all offset printed. In this case it is a six color print as we usually print the grey tones of hull and superstructure of navy ships in spot color. Both color and paper are of the highest quality.

The model will be available by the end of this year. Orders can be placed now and here:

Norwegian Pilot Cutters

You may have seen this model before. But as a matter of fact we took it off the market after it was first published because this was one of the rare cases where almost everything was wrong and we had to many little errors in the kit for an HMV model.

Now it is corrected and reprinted. So I can present now a really well designed and fun to build set of six small Norwegian pilot cutters. The little ships are not too difficult to build and a Lasercut set is already available.
