Scalescenes - New Clyde Puffer Ship

Clyde Puffers are small coal-fired and single-masted cargo ships, built mainly in the Clyde canal, between 1856 and 1939, and used around the coast and islands of Scotland.

This model is probably the nicest kit to date of a Clyde Puffer, and is available in 1/76 and 1/148 (British N scale).

T030b Clyde Puffer - Scalescenes

Features include....
  • Editable ship name
  • Detailed Wheelhouse interior
  • Hatchboards, tarpaulins and hold interior detai
  • Full deck fittings

Handsome models. Could be used as foundation of a small dockside model railway.
Don't know that I could ever get comfortable with stack in front of wheelhouse, though; but then I'm not and never will be a mariner. :D

I think you must be right about the position of that stack. Quite nauseating!
