Fair enough, that blast door is big, got a couple of 1/48 plastic Phantoms one from Saratoga and one from Constellation either of those would look OK on this diorama, Stahlhart also has a couple of 1/48 Growlers as well that would look even nicer

I'm actually trying to enlarge the kit to 1/33.
The base sheets are now in four parts...the assembled base is 21" x 15"

Not sure how many people want a diorama base that big?
But, I will continue to chop and reassemble parts...

If I can make a 1/33 kit out of it, I will definitely put it in the shop.

Dave,

I wouldn't mind it at 1/33, but I the kit is too modern to be the HMCS Magnificent.

Gary, correct...it represents a modern American Carrier deck.

It was suggested to me that I create some other deck...like a Japanese WW2 Carrier.
Unfortunately this almost means doing a lot of research, so I understand various Carriers better.
The deck surface isn't an issue...its the deck equipment.
I have to include something else with the Deck.
Its just something I haven't gotten around to.
