Airfield Aviation Diorama Accessories Kits (updated) 1/33 scale

I have updated all my Airfield Accessory kits.
They are now 1/33 scale (originally 1/50) reprintable at smaller scales if needed.
[Print reduction scales are provided]

I've also cleaned up the pages and parts layouts, added more assembly aids and diagrams.

Each kit includes a wide assortment of vehicles, Items and Structures associated with the separate eras.
WW2...Post WW2...and Modern era which includes some Aircraft Carrier accessories.

The items in each kit are detailed on the cover pages (shown below).
Each kit is priced at $14.95
You can purchase the kits directly from me or more easily at ecardmodels.com.

So I am confused. Browsing your site you still show a CD #7 of 3 airfield dioramas in 1/50. Aren't these the ones you discontinued?

Also, minor point but there is a dead link at the bottom of your Spitfire page.

I would suggest you push your "Buy One get One Free" deal in exchange for good build photos. That is a win win for everyone. BTW I DID build the Snoopy. Jist kiddin' my frenn.

Your stands and flags and, and, and look fabulous! As soon as I order another hard drive I will be on yer site like a Duck on a June Bug!!

;-)

HAHA you can tell how well I update my site.

That promotion page is an old forgotten place.
It reflected some eBay sales I tried years ago.
To be honest, it should have been updated or removed long before now.

In fact, I'm going to edit that page right.
Sorry for any confusion.

I'm thinking I may offer some new package deals in the future, just not right now.

................
I'll check on that Spitfire dead link, thanks

................

Photo builds have always been "just ask for a model" in exchange for photos.
It needs to be something that I need photos for.

Problem is, I have given out models in the past, with that agreement, and not seen the build.
I know life gets in the way...circumstances change.
But don't offer to do it, if you never had any intention to follow through.

Not that you don’t have too many projects already, but you might keep the thought of modern civilian aircraft accessories in the back of your mind. Not too many people building 1/33 scale airliners, but there are tons of 1/72 and 1/100 scale airliners out there looking for GPUs, lav carts, baggage carts, push back vehicles, air stairs, huffer carts, etc.

The Civil Aviation kit is 1/100 with some alternate 1/144 elements
and instructs on rescaling to 1/200, 1/300,1/500...

I have considered 1/72 but it didn't seem to be in demand.
And upscale printing to 1/72 is easy to larger format sheets (at any copy shop).

Theres already a thread and big discussion on this.

I'm glad that you did them at 1/33, it's way easier to downsize (no worries about card stock size).

Dave, I just brought the WW11 Airfield Diorama from ecards on-line on Monday 1-6 as well as the carrier deck kit, both came in at 1:50 not good for my P47s or P51 do I need to get them again, when do you expect to release them in the larger scale

PM sent.

Col, the problem with the Carrier Dio kit is the sheer size of the base parts at 1/33.
Right now, at 1/50 scale, 2 full sheets are required...and even then, the Jet Blast Door takes up almost a full sheet.
Not leaving much room for a Jet Model.
Anything bigger than a Fighter will hang off the edges of the base sheets.

The best option, is taking the file to a copy/print shop, and have them enlarge (151%) and print the two base sheets on two larger sheets of paper.
Then glue these to black/black foamcore (same as I suggest with the 1/50 sheets).

Print the Parts for the Blast Door at 151% also, on larger cardstock sheets.

At the moment I don't have plans for a 1/33 scale Carrier package.
But I could look into it.
