L'Instant Durable has gone.

Sad news, I have just read it on Leforumenpapier, that the French forum went bankrupted recently ( maquettes-papier.net/forumenpapier/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14308) No reprint to wait for, unfortunately.

Thierry Hatot, who was working at l'Instant Durable, is now in Riom, a city close to Clermont-Ferrand, trying to do his best to deliver new models, along with other enthusiasts, I guess. The name of the related new company is " L'Autre Chemin " ( autre-chemin.fr/categorie-produit/moments-durables/ ) whose catalogue, for the time being, cannot obviously match the large offer one could benefit from L'Instant Durable, which was issuing models for over forty years. Unfortunately, their models will not be printed again, and the new company starts from zero. Thierry Hatot is not able to deliver anymore information about what happens since he left the company.

False alarm. I have contacted mr. De Bussac, son of the original owner. His models are still available, but to resellers (shops) only.
I have a small stock (see my site zeistbouwplaten.nl, page Trad. Architecture). I regulalrly order from Mr De Bussac.
So a new situation, but no problem.

Forgot to say: USA customers might find a way to combine orders and save at least some of the exorbitant postage?

This answers a question that arose when I recently ordered the L'Instant Durable Notre Dame de Paris, which I found at a reasonable price from a French seller through ABE books. The return address label said it came from "DE BUSSAC Diffusion," of Clermont-Ferrand.
