The page says it's coming THIS weekend! That's good news. I've been waiting for something to come out. My magic keys were getting bored.

They're here!

And they look very good. They even include a 3-d radial engine that looks reasonably like a Pratt&Whitney. They also posted a much better photo on their home page.

I downloaded it earlier this evening. It does look quite promising. As for the detailed engine, if my eyes served me correctly, I believe it said that Glen (Birder) helped develop the fancy engines for the model. If that is correct, then a huge THANKS is in order. I will be using those things on many FG planes from now on.

Yep, got my downloads this morning about 5:00!!

Great kits! I like the term "flyable" for the large version. That should be interesting!

Based on my quick look, that engine appears to be very similar to the one Birder developed for the Fiddlers Green Steerman bi-plane, back in 2006. At that time, Chip decided to go with a simpler version of the engine, but Birder sent me a file with his original engine and I thought it turned out quite well.

For a while you could get the engine off of Fiddlers Green site, back when they still had a file section full of odd-ball parts. But that part of the website seems to have been lost. Too bad.
