lost photos

When the BIG CRASH happened a few weeks ago, the thread I had for the Otter models was lost as well as the pictures from my Gallery.

These are the two Otter liveries released thus far:

More Otters are coming.

Chris! I think it is common to see float planes sitting on the snow in the winter.

There are many great videos of float planes landing on grass to get ready for winter. Check out this video: Landing on Grass

I was just teasing and kinda hinting that a ski add on would be cool!

Two US Army liveries will also be available shortly. I worked with the staff at the US Army Transportation Museum in Fort Eustis, VA to get the marking correct. I just packaged a model up and shipped it to them.

Jim - I worked part time at North Sound Aviation in Washington State - watched a Cessna, Cub & Beaver all do the same thing in the field next to the hanger. The Business Owner had a "Tilly" that would lift the plane up, then we would undo the floats & install their struts/wheels, or temp. yard gear so we could wheel it into the hanger & winterize/annual/etc. I rebuilt my first set of EDO floats there. The owner had a Twin Otter that we were putting back together when I finally left - was stationed at Whidbey Island and had to transfer.
