Halinski P-51D Question

Greetings all-

I am planning on building a Halinski P-51D. I would like to build the "Big Beutiful Doll" version (1/2003) but I am having problems finding laser cut parts. I was wondering if anyone out there would know if the blue nose "Petie" (5/2005) is basicly a re-skinned version of the earlier release? Or is the latter a totally redesigned beastie? Thanks!

Hi JMac,
I have them both in my collection and have built the older one. The construction is the same. However the newer version includes separate flaps (someone correct me if I'm wrong). So the laser parts should fit.

Cheers
Jan

Great! Thank you Jan. I'm glad I may be able to use the laser cut parts. This will be my second card model and I'll need all the help I can get!

Johnny- Thanks for the link to your "Petie" build. All I can say is WOW! Great job! I hope my mustang comes out a fraction as well yours did. This will help me out a ton. You can get just so much out of a bunch of Polish gibberish and vague pictures. Keep up the great work and take good care of little John Conner. I'd hate to see him become a P.O.W. :D

Confirmed! I went out and bought the laser cut parts for "Petie" (5/2003). Not only do they look alike, they are numbered the same. Thank you everyone for your input. Much appreciated!
