Martin Sanger's PaperAviation FJ-1 Fury 1/33

**First Impression**

The Model: North American FJ-1 Fury
Scale: 1/33
Publisher: PaperAviation
Designer: Martin Sanger
Link: http://www.paperaviation.de
Initial Rating 1- 10: 9.5

This model is available for download (PDF) from Martin's site for 8 euros or about 13 USD. The kit has 21 pages and is about 26mbs in total size. (DSL is suggested)
It comes in both German and English. Starts with some history on the aircraft, goes into the parts and then some very good picture instructions.

It is a very detailed kit and allows the builder to choose many options to build....... i.e. wheels up or down, with wingtip tanks or without, paper canopy or clear canopy.

It does include a very detail cockpit.

I've included a screen print taken at the PDF scale of 6400%. Notice the detail........ yes that is an informational placard on the model.

3200%.......... I stand corrected. (6400% was too big and you couldn't see the whole words )

Thanks Don..... but I also screwed up again.......

Martin Saenger.......... is the designer..........

Sorry Martin I left out the 'e'............... fat fingers strikes again.

I've PMed Martin on the 'other' site, I have a little problem and will let everyone know if it is a "real" problem or just me..........(my printer........ I'm betting it's my printer )

I've looked this one over and even started a pre-lim build............ I must say that the fit is magnificant..........and the detail is incredible..........panel line and marking registration is, is............ WOW!

That's about the best I can come up with right now.

Downloaded it last night...Very impressive! This is a very good value even with the crappy USD conversion rate.
Cheers!

I followed his beta build thread and thought this looked like a very nice little model. Hope you can get your printer issues squared away and put a build thread together for us

I followed it too Dan............. that's why I jumped on it so fast after I saw the announcement..........

Here is a quick........ and I mean quick build so far. Martin I apologize for the poor build the model is fantastic.

I've decided to build it with wheels up............ I just can not wait to start playing with it ....... and no cockpit............. but rest assured I WILL do a complete build after I get a familiar with it.
