NOBi's original release was a CV-22 in USAF colors. So doing a scheme for the 1st SOW shouldn't be too hard to do. Let me get the USMC bird(s) finished and we'll see what happens.

John,
When I did the repaints of the Osprey I also did an add on set that has both exterior and interior parts. There is both styles of refueling probes, extended and retracted, and a lot of the missing antennas, strakes, and engine scoops. I do have a simple cargo compartment started along with the ramp. and a shortened interior that shows thru the opened crew door, along with cockpit parts.
I can send you a copy if you want to use them for your repaint.

re-color Update:

OK............... as usual, after much looking on the net, I found some pictures of VMM-263 deployment and they are different than what I WAS using to re-color with.

So I'm going to have to start over on my scheme....... the colors I was using are too dark, even though I used the FS numbers stated. I know the printer can make a change, but this is too drastic a difference.

I also found a significant different in how the colors are applied than what I was using............

I'm going to so VMM-263 #03 bird as I found close-up showing the crew names and I like to include tme mif possible in my re-colors........

I've also started making modifications to NOBi's CV-22 to make it a MV-22B.

I stopped for the moment to work on the Chipmunk release that NOBi did for us (DGA), Osprey progress will resume very soon.

I believe I have the basic color scheme finished and only have to do the VMM-263 markings and basic additions to make it a MV-22 bird.

Osprey ETA? How do you plan to sell?

Looking forward to a real USMC version.

ETA- well lets just say that I'll get finished ASAP, keeping in mind that life has/is tossing in a few things to slow things up.

How do you plan to sell - with NOBi's permission and approval it will be released through ecardmodels, and will be comaprable to Model Worx's Osprey replaints and will also probably require the purchase of his addon for the Osprey for all the parts needed for the MV-22 conversion. Especially since he has already done most of the needed parts for the conversion.

Looking forward to a real USMC version - I hope it meets your expectations, I've been researching the net and library for as much info as I can find and will try and make it as close to the real bird as I can. One reason that I chose the #3 bird is that I did find some personal pictures from the crew that shows detail close ups that are so hard to find. Not to spoil anything, but it will have all the markings on the bird that are not standard USMC.
