Fokker E.V (d.VIII) kit?
Hello,
I've built several FG models of WW I aircraft and would like a recommendation for a Fokker E.V (D.VIII) kit - one of my personal favorites. I've built the FG version and would like to try my hand at a more detailed version, but hopefully within the skill range of a novice builder. Most of my models have been in the range of 1/33 to 1/48 scale. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks, Willie |

Hi Willie1914 I would recommend any Fokker EV in 1:33 scale and print on A3, will be big enough and will be freedom to add own details.
Regards , Henryk

The 1/33 model by http://www.kartonowakolekcja.republika.pl/ cannot be beaten. Quite detailed, wonderfully designed and can be built as one of three different versions.

I believe Roman has several, as well as Small Paper Things did some repaints.
Marek also did some D.VIII kits.

If anyone is interested in different kits of the same subject (yes, I like this! Got several kits of the Spitfire.), there als is a kit by Maly Modelarze with Polish markings: Fokker E.V der Baureihe 193/18 (1919) 1:33 Got it waiting to be built, looks good.
I do not know if this kit still is available somewhere else, I just followed a link from a german forum. Cheers, Martin
