FG Ansalda S.V.A.

Here's a few photos of Fiddlers Green's Ansaldo SVA. This aircraft set numerous speed and endurance records during WWI and the two seat bomber version figured in the famed propaganda leaflet dropping event by Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. More on Annunzio in Peter Demetz's book, "The Air Show at Brescia, 1909.

FG's Ansalda SVA is a very nice kit. Outstanding artwork. No cockpit details other than a panel so I made a seat and other details for it. Like most FG models, you'll need some reference material to make an accurate replica, and I used Profile Publications "The S.V.A. Ansaldo Scouts" to grab some info on details. Wings, as usual have no internal support and I reworked the wing tips to get a proper profile.

I promised some pix of my work earlier, and this is a start. Thanks to rickstef for his help in getting this post up.
