USS Hornet (CV-8) (Szkutnik 201)
Firt thing is shocking - thickness of kit - it's almost half inch : Assembly drawings are highly detailed, every single page have useful tips and notes. Metal (wire) parts are marked with pink color, everything else like wire insulation are marked with blue color. Templates are placed just right with drawings. Some pages to view: There are just cuple of pages on thin paper with back parts of flight decks and hangars: |

I'm just wondered - why to print parts of decks and formers on glossy paper? It's make no sense...
Then i had an idea an check it. BAMM, these parts are printed on self-adhesive paper!!! Very, very helpful! Some pages on thick paper: Many pages have two-sided prints, including parts like "bend it over - glue - cut out". |

Very impressing model, thanks for sharing. Will be a very interesting building thread to follow.
Is Szkutnik a new company? Thanks, Shalom Mor |

That’s one heck of a kit you’ve got there. Each plane is a kit upon itself.
Good luck with the build, I’ll be following along. |

No. They're in business since 1990s but published very few models of sailships.

This is going to be most interesting. I'm sure if I was to try building this I would be breaking out in a cold sweat.
