Great finds

I just found "Make Your Own Working Paper Clock" by James Smith Rudolph in a used book store for $2.95. What other great finds in unlikely places have people dug up?

Last week I found $15 in an old pair of shorts I haven't worn in over a year.
It was a great find.

just yesterday, on writing my name in the Google search engine, I stumbled upon a painting for sale on eBay, I did in Sienna, Italy, some 29 years ago. A month after I came back from Italy, a friend of mine, who payed a visit to me, brought it back with him when leaving. Now, I had just to give away 89 euros to get it, but I am rather happy with that and eager to see it back home, after being discarded such a long time. I’ll post a picture for you chaps as soon as soon as I get it back.

I'm fine with silliness. Paper money is as good in its way as paper models. I also want to thank MichaelS for posting that link. I was hesitating on whether I could in good conscience ever build my copy, fearing that uncut copies were a rarity, but if they're still to be had in the open marketplace, then I can build when the time comes without fear. And congrats, Vermin King, on the model in the mailbox, though I'm guessing it wasn't a surprise.
