ASTER---- passenger barge from JSC

Nice unsual subject arrived today from JSC in Poland;Passenger barge built in 1951 in france.Carried cargo on the canals in france till 1972 then converted to passenger berths for summer camps and school trips.Rebuilt again in 1987 as a resturant ship and served in this role till 2002 when new safety regs meant she could no longer operate.Was left to deteriorate till 2014 when she was reatored by volunteers and now is flagship in maritime museum in SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE , France.

The model contains 2 kits. A simple version at 1;72 scale and a detailed version at 1;120 scale.Detailed version is full hull and there is the option to buy the laser cut parts for the hull at 1;120 scale.Excellent instructions in english.polish and french and good instruction diagrams
