LECLERC 1:25 Fly Model

The second one of the newer age.

The AMX-56 Leclerc is a main battle tank (MBT) built by Giat industries in France. It was named in honour of General Philippe de Hauteclocque "Leclerc" who landed at Normandy and eventually led the drive towards Paris while in command of the Free French 2nd Armoured division in WW2.
The Leclerc is in service with the French army and the army of the United Arab Emirates. In production since 1991, the Leclerc entered French service in 1992,replacing the venerable AMX 30 as the country's main armoured platform. With production now complete, the French Army has a total of 406 Leclercs and the United Arab Emirates has 388.

This kit contains 14 sheets in A3 format.

The first 5 pages are instructions and drawings.

Next 3 sheets are with formers

Next are 8 sheets with parts.

The only extra accessories for this tank is wooden wheels which are really good!!
The kit brings a good overall quality. The colors are nice, print is good and the drawings looks good enough

Johnny-
This is a change for you - Modern Armor! I'm so use to following your beautiful WWII era builds that this one is going to take a little getting use to. I'm sure this one will turn out just as nice as all your others though
How does this "FLY" model compair to those from GPM?

I do have a few modern tanks as the Leopard,T55,T54,Challenger,Leclerc and the Abrams, but when I'm going to build them....thats another story

I'm not quite sure how it is compared to GPM,but the kit itselves looks very good.So it will be exiting to see how it turns out.
