Supermarine Spitfire Vb 1:33 Halinski

The other model I bought from Shoki was this one
I know several of you guys have this one, and some has built it too!

The kit contains 4 pages with parts, 5 pages with 3d instructions, and 1,5 pages with formers.

The kit.

Parts.Note the nice weathering!!

Drawings and formers

I think there is a canopy available for this one, laserframes....I don't know.
Overall it looks like a great kit!!

This is probably my next build. Unfortunately I've been unable to successfully scan and print anything the same size, so I think I'm actually going to have a go at it (eek) using the original kit with no backup...
I'm actually developing my own instructions based on the scarce English ones and the diagrams and am about 1/2 way through building it in my head and documenting which pieces I need laminated for what and what order to build in.
I'm sure based on your previous work that yours will outshine mine by a ton when you get around to building it Johnny .

The scanning can sometimes be very tricky.....so I did that only a couple of times. Now I'm always builds from the original, but scans only a couple of "spare parts" if anything goes wrong....

I also scan only for back up incase I make a mistake. I much prefer to build the model from the original printed sheets. Always looks much better.

I planned on using that build thread (and already have read through it multiple times) to supplement the instructions. When I get to building it - I may pick your brain if I run into any questions

I like halinski's quality...very detail. Would be nice to increase scale into 1/24 before build :P

I am preparing a 1/16 version of this kit. Have done a lot of preparatory work on history, techniques of scanning, etc., on both Cardmodeler's net, and Kartonbau.de.

It is a pity that so much gets lost in just a few years of time.

Also, I have prepared a 1/87 version of this kit, in picture postcard format. Anybody who can prove that they own a purchased copy of the original kit is most welcome to it.
