Mitsubishi 1MT1N 1:50

Hello!
The Calquin is almost ready and this is good time to think about the new project (Rafale has yet to be wait).
I chose Japanese triplane torpedo bomber Mitsubishi 1 MT1N from 1922.
More about this aircraft is on Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_1MT
Photo here:

I started designing of model, as always, from the fuselage.

Best regards.

Very cool and kinda spooky. I just made a list of my next series to build, and it was triplanes. This will make a great addition to series!

Hello!
Thank you very much Texman.
I know it is not so popular aircraft and thead for model like for example Zeke, Val or Kate but IJAF since this started and I think it is worth to recall.
The model will be not difficult (I hope) and intermediate modeler should you give him advice.

Continued design: I made vertical and horizontal rudders.

Best regards.

Very interesting choice. As you I like the idea to model some "forgotten" planes.

Hello!
Thank you nothing! After the next a finite model, always I say to myself "this time must be Bf-109 or Spitfire..." I begin to design the project, and it appears that once again I made a little-known aircraft. :D
Very strange...
Alcides: thank you! No, I mean, that model will be simpler because the same block of the model is simple and not as complicated as, for example Calquin.
Unfortunately I haven`t any plan of this aircraft in 3D view. I based only on drawings 2D from this book: http://www.mareno.pl/prod/MIDN/83-86776-56-0
plus seweral photos of oryginal from internet and one photo of plastic model from Marusan in 1:50.

I added the lower wings.

Best regards.

Hello!
Chris, don`t worry. I hope it will not be so hard.

Today: gear and two small hoods of exhaust pipes on the engine cover.

Best regards.

This is going to be another winner! If you need a builder in 1/144, let me know! I'm not fast, but I put out a good product.
