Hello!
Fred: of course I remember. In May next year Empress must be ready for the hundredth anniversary of the sinking. Vincent:yes, underwater hull I will be doing in parallel with the new ship. dto: S.S. Teutonic - I haven`t her drawings. S.S. New York - I haven`t her drawings. S.S. Waratah - I haven`t her drawings. R.M.S. Oceanic - I have her drawings. S.S. City of Paris - I have her drawings. Ok, I tell you something about ship between Californian and Carpathia. - This was a ship a little younger than Titanic - This was a ship a little bigger than Titanic. - This ship had three funnels. - This ship was build in the coutry which very competed with England in domination the carriage of passengers across the Atlantic. Who can guess what it will be a ship and from what country? Ok, time for model. Today first sheet with instruction, sheet with optional parts for underwater hull and sheet with superstructures and sides. Best regards. Krzychu74

Hello!
NOBI: Thank you! If I have plans my ships will be with underwater hull. (forgive me. I forgot answer you.) Ladies and Gentlemen. The winner of our competition is.... Royaloakmin! Congratulations Fred: it will be Imperator. Pictures for you. Vincent: I`d like make Ille de France but I haven`t plans/drawings. I have problems with drawings for French liners (with Italian liners too). I suppose that was documentation in French-language publishing for modellers but I never saw it. I have drawings for s.s. France / Norway and that is all. David: S.S. United States is on my short list "to do". S.S. Lurline - I have only bad quality view from right side. Californian will be in a few days ready for test. Best regards. Krzychu74

Krzychu74, even without that eagle figurehead, S.S. Imperator was initially very top-heavy. You might want to include the original tall stacks and the later cut-down versions.
By the way... I know you earlier expressed a desire to steer clear of more Cunard liners, but if you design the S.S. Imperator, the R.M.S. Berengaria would be a relatively simple conversion... Too bad about the lack of French and Italian documentation -- the S.S. Rex and S.S. Andrea Doria were beautiful ships. And the S.S. Ile de France looked great both as a three-stacker and modernized with twin funnels. (But not when that poor ship was reduced to one stack during the filming of The Final Voyage -- what a cinematic desecration of such a grand old lady.) David T. Okamura |

This surely is an interesting project, looking forward to the results!

Hello!
David: I thought about doing opion the Imperator to Berengaria. The question is whether Berengaria was rebuilt. If so, how? I know about the shorter stacks only, but if it were the only changes? That I don`t know. Jerry: thank you very much! Californian is ready for test gluing. She has 65 numbered parts on 5 sheets with parts, 2 sheets with optional parts and 2 sheets with instruction. Model will be tested by lechcyfer. Best regards. Krzychu74

"I wish they all could be California(n)..."
Wait a minute, that's not the song about a ship Anyway, another great model, but I still hope that I will live to see your model of a 19th century warship |
