most modern liners look like floating appartment blocks to me.think itd the desire for ourtside balconies.I know when the queen mary was designed she was a beauty but then micky ariston??insisted on all the staterooms having outside balconies hebce why she looks the way she does now.i yearn for the days that liners looked like ships.i have mention the france, canberra, old oriana but could add mariposa, monterey, windsor castle,sa vaal, rotterdam, statendam and so the list goes on

Le Boreal (2010) and L'Austral (2011) hopefully represent a reversal of trend and a return to good taste

Matt77,

Can you please stop with your critique of Krzychu's model?
I do believe that he has never done that to you and your design threads.

If you feel so strongly about ships from the past, why don't you design one?

Every designer has the right to design what he or she feels like, if you do not like it, then you do not need to download it or buy it and build it.

but there is no need to go after a fellow designer like this

Rick

I apologize, I appreciate all the work of Krzychu's, and I respect him, I would never dare to criticize his choice, but I am Italian, and I criticize the choice of the Italian shipyards to produce such ships,
Stop for me,
sorry again

Johnny.

PS: I agree with the others here though ... I'd much prefer to see France, or Canberra.
