just a question.i see on your sheets it states print on 60-80 gram paper.i would have thought that for the formers 220 gram would better better and even then it should be doubled up when printed.

I hope followers of this thread / lovers of traditional passenger liners know that a large number of Dutch 'oldies' are available as generally excellent models already? OK, not free (seems to be a keyword nowadays...) but they come with excellent detail sets, English instructions... Models designed in the '60ties (Schuijt, Veritas) are fairly simple (paper modelling was aimed at young teenagers in those days). Recent models (Scaldis) are as challenging as you can get them. Most were designed for Scaldis by JSC. Visit my site for all information and pictures: www.zeistbouwplaten.nl/, and http://www.flickr.com/photos/zeist_bouwplaten/

Having cruised on five of the Costa ships of various sizes, I have a hunch this will be one I build.

Looking very good so far!

I show here only the sample sheets with sample parts as .jpg files in a smaller size than the original sheets. All sheets (parts, instruction, description of history of Costa Concordia, over, Back cover) will be available in the final model on Ecardmodels as .pdf files.

Paper print on 60-80 gram will be for formers only and parts that need to be glued onto cardboard 1mm. Rest of the parts will be print on 160-170 gram.

Work on the Concordia are going slowly, but forward.
Elements of thrusters, the first parts of the underwater part of hull and first tippings are ready.

Best regards.
