More on this plane can be read here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine...fabrikk_M.F.11 The project will test by Tim Crowe. At the beginning some renderings and photos of sheets. Best regards.

Lets get started:
First task was to laminate the required sheets onto 1mm card. This detailed model has four and a half A4 sheets to laminate. Next stage was to cut the fuselage formers out Some of these parts are quite tricky and some parts required a new blade for each cut. Luckily I buy them in boxes of 100. After a few mishaps. I decided that some sections required strengthening from CA glue. The ruler was used to keep things nice and straight Spent two evenings to building up the frames. The fit of the parts is excellent. There is still a lot of work to do on the fuselage, before any skins are fitted. Tim |

Back off holiday. Time for some more building:
Next part is the instrument panel. Cut the circles out using dermal punches. Greyed the white area around the instruments. Then gave a coat of gloss varnish, to simulate glass. Once dry I glued the panel in place, and added some levers. There is even a small knob for the Direction Indicator. Last part is the addition of the steel framework into the fuselage interior . I used garden wire, painted matt black. Tim |
