Great looking model. I agree with Sergio, that nose would definitely be a challenge.

Is there a different method to make the engine cowl nose section other than the petal design?

How about spreading putty over it, sanding smooth and then painting over to match?

Short of vacuforming it, I think it needs some help.

My input.

It looks great, great work. With the theme of the nose in my case I would have to do what Isaac says, as I did in the Calquin, the petals are not my friends. But I have seen other teachers work wonders with them. That the subject goes through the ability of each one in this or that part, we all have parts that complicate us while others find it easy and vice versa.

Hello.
Thank you for the kind words. In the model you will be able to make a nose in the classic version with patals or use 7 *, 8 * and 8a * frames to make a mold from a balsa, gypsum or other material. The method of implementation will depend on the possibilities and creativity of modelers.

BTW: I forgot to add that the author of the test model is Roman Wolsztyński.

Some last photos of details...
