Nice job attaching the wing. That's always been the trickiest part of WWI planes for me.

Excellent clean work on that wing attachment, Peter. What a very beautiful airplane model this is!
Are you doing anything to keep the foamcore from warping? Don |

finished!!!!!!!

Here's the end results.. Ground cover is static grass and odd bits of stuff lying about.. drybrushed with assorted greens & browns. I made up some chocks for the tires out of some scrape basswood.. All the rigging is stretched spruce.. windscreen is a piece of clear acetate cut to shape using the one from the kit as a template, then painted in the frame . I like mounting the models on a base, because it lets people handle it without touching the model and screwing something up..... Plus IMO it's a nice way of presenting the model.. I'm quite happy with the overall results, and want to give thanks to Chris & Marek for allowing me to do take part in the Marathon.. |

Great job all around. Nice precise work, and a good looking base thrown in for good measure.

Well, you have every reason to be happy with this one, Peter. You did an outstanding job on the model -- and you had a very attractive airplane and color scheme to work with.
The presentation is first rate! Don |
