I have experience doing this - and yes it works fine. I found an online source for legal sized card stock - running out the door to the store but when I get back I'll try to remember to dig out the info to post.

Historic photos of these aircraft are not thick on the ground, but what I've been able to find agrees with my theory.
Thanks Eric.. I'll check it out later... Very nice day out, so it's out the door with my Beach Cruiser, and down to the boardwalk!!!

Cheers..

Ok - my legal card stock is from paperworks.com and I know it's Wasau paper, but I can't find a reference to what weight / thickness I ordered. I know when I check it with my calipers I get 0.21mm or .00085", which according to the sheet provided looks like 110 lb. index stock maybe? IIRC a package was something like $15 with shipping for 250 sheets I believe.
If I had to guess looking over the sight, this is what I ordered - Exact Index Cover White 8-1/2x14 110lb 250/pkg: Paperworks.

cockpit..

Made up the cockpit... Also glued the wheel blanks together, and gave the outside a coating of CA. Tomorrow I'll throw them on the dremel and sand them into shape...

VERY nice clean work, Peter. Looks like it is going to be a very good-looking airplane.

Ve-e-ry nice wheels & tail parts! The last photo is a "before", right? Nice to see you putting the Dremel mandrel to such good use. Makes you realize the true size of those wheels. Very neat. They look so good in the "after" photo, as does the the tail parts.
