Hi Ron....
It and modeling in general are on hold for the moment. I had to go back in and have some surgery redone. Had a tumor up near my left eye, that was not completely removed the first time. They made sure they got it all this time, but in the process my vision is a little weird at the moment until it heals up. Not able to focus on anything close.
Your doing a great job on your build, and I hope to be able to do something again on mine in about a week. Will fine out more today.

Peter,
I was thinking that maybe something a lot less serious had come up (like bad fit or whatnot). My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend!
Get well and we'll see you back here soon Peter

Ron

Best wishes on your recovery. One technique I learned from this thread was to rig the wings before completing the fuselage. This way the tail assembly doesn't get in the way.

Sorry to hear about the medical issues, Peter. The words "tumor" and "eyeball" sound scary, but your report is upbeat and I join all the others in wishing you a speedy recovery and quick return to paper modeling.

Only whats between the ears is permanently screwy. The post-op check-up at the VA yesterday shows that it's all healing fine, and it will just take time. Infection around the eye is their main concern, so keeping the area clean is the key for me.

Many thanks for all the upbeat messages..

Rest, relax, and heal Peter. We'll wait until you're back at the workbench ...
