Looks great! How do you attach the non-anchored ends of the rigging?

Thanks Wyvern... the size of the model for me dictated giving it a try this way, as normally I would have done it when everything is attached. It's working out better than I thought. Though you want to have all the sections completed and test fitted before rigging. Trying to make fit adjustments later would be real "pain in the rear"..

I'm running them straight through to the underside of the wing, using weighted clamps to hold them tight.. and then securing with a tiny drop of CA at the entry point. Will post a photo later... Not sure how it's going to look when completed, but will never know unless I give it a shot. Slow going, as I'm only doing small sections at a time and I don't want to overstress and bend the wing out of alignment..

Thats how I rigged the Sopwith Pup and it worked fine.

The build is looking real good, getting those two huge wings on and well supported must have been a bit of a challenge.

Thanks.. The wings actually weren't that hard to mount and support. I had more of a problem with my Morane A.1.. Here's a photo of the in-progress rigging. Will leave everything long in case I want to make any adjustments..

Looks great! Rigging always kicked my butt when I tried...

Your photos always make things very clear, Peter.

And you certainly make use of some innovative field-expedient cradles, jigs, and temporary mounts.

One of my earlier jigs, that I find has multiple uses if used correctly...

Hi Peter

I'm just curious if you still have this build on the table? C'mon mister! I need your footsteps to follow in! Actually I miss watching your creative solutions and enjoy looking at your work. Hope this one hasn't been 86'd

Talk soon
Ron
