I guess I could go look and answer this - but is this kit offered at 1/50 with this detail, or have you downsized one of the 1/33 kits? Nice job so far either way

There are actually two different Marek Claudes - a 1:33 and a 1:50. I have both and it looks like the 1:50 is a reduced (in size, not detail) version of the 1:33 with a new color scheme. The 1:33 scale version is daunting enough because of the detail level - I cannot imagine doing the same thing in 1:50 - and yet Gomidefihlo is making it look easy.

Thank's friends!

I Purchase 1/33 version of Claude too, and I agree Ron is a scale down of 1/33 version, same construction method, but more details. GPM shop sell the printed version of 1/50 Claude publishing by KEL, rest know why version is a first 1/33 or 1/50?

In the next hours I'm posting construction of wing...

Thank's for comments people.:D

Friends!

Sorry for delay, but here now the construction of wing...

I'm started for internal formers. I laminated in 380g filecoat paper, and reinforced with CA gel glue. The only problem in this step is a fences in wing formers, the marcation is too deep, need a correction...

After I'm working in center section of wing, the news in this Marek Kit (and I observed in others models of second generation) is a separete glue tabs, in this pic the tabs for join another sections of wing is visible, I sugest make in lower thickness...

The section glued is the formers waiting for the rest of wing...

The next is another sections of wings, in this parts again the separate glue tabs, for glue wings. I think is better glue incorporated in wing piece because the method is need a strong glue (pression fold to form the wing provocating fences in board attack). For me is a most frustating part in assembly, need a careful reconstruction method and i not like :(...

Wing finish, the internal formers working perfect.

Now I'm glue Wing in fuselage, the tabs in internal skin in the cockpit is used for this, the alignment is easy, but i'm recomend this use of CA glue in gel or another stronger glue suitable for use in paper...

In this nexts steps another pieces for wing, tail and turtle carenage...

See you the next time

Cheers

Excellent work. I find these build photos to be very useful and I will make reference to them when I attempt this model some day in the future.

As I'm supposed to be doing the 1:33 version of this now (too busy!), I'm following along closely as well. Excellent work so far!
