Very nice. Very nice, indeed.
I'm afraid I can't help with the unfolding, but it looks good thus far.

Pepakura has a free version use the print option as it does not save files. PDF995 works well. It should unfold quite easily. Well done.

This is the best one I can find relating to Sketchup
Flattery Papercraft Tools
It also exports to SVG according to the page so you shoulud be able to edit the unfolded patterns in Inkscape

You need to use a Ruby script called unfold.rb
it is here

http://sketchuptips.blogspot.com/200...-unfoldrb.html

Your model is very simple and should be a breeze to unfold. If you have problems send me your sketchup file and I will unfold it for you. Tell me the scale if you want to have it a certain size.

Screen shot

I took the liberty of whipping up a quick replica of your model and then took a screenshot of the unfold so you could see it. I used unfold tool in sketchup 7
