Cool It's Not Paper , But just as much fun !

Okay :
Don't hit me over this , Please ? I have discovered a new media for just building things . It's put out by a group called Fascinations . And they call it Metal Earth . All the Models are Photo-Etched stainless .
Their product listing has ships , Bugs , Planes and Buildings as well as such things as the Moon Lander and the Mars Rover and many more . I just finished the Seattle " Space Needle " as a gift to a friend from there . I would recommend trying just one .You , of course use the same techniques as paper , Fold ; etc . Try them . Those are fun to build. A good set of needle nose pliers and a good magnifier help a lot.
I have built the Golden Hind, Black Pearl, Huey, Tower Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, and the Brooklyn Bridge.

I have been thinking if a separate thread/forum would be of interest based on these models

I have started with the Apache myself last night

saw a Klingon bird of prey and a tos enterprise and a few more enterprises, they weren't bad, but be careful, paper cuts might be preferable to metal cuts!!

I love the Metal Earth kits! I have the Wright Flyer, A P-51 (Big Beautiful Doll), Cessna 172, SR-71, and a series of bridges (Brooklyn, Golden Gate, tower Bridge). The local air and space museum has a ton of different ones in their shop. They can't keep the SR-71 in stock longer than a weekend. I had to get mine from Amazon!
