Excellent place to get Metal Earth kits

Hi all,
I was in Minnetonka, Minnesota on business a little while back and one of my co-workers found out that I am starting to collect the Metal Earth kits. He said that at the Eden Prairie Center mall (in nearby Eden Prairie) there is a store called, "Air Traffic Kites ans Games that sold some of these.

Some of these...that was an understatement. When I went there, I had NEVER seen so many different ones available! I would guess they have at least 30 or so different ones. I purchased the LM that I had been wanting for a VERY long time. I wanted to buy the X-Wing and R2-D2, but had to save the rest of my money for food for the remainder of my trip.

I will get there again, somehow...

Here is information from the Eden Prairie Center web site:
http://www.edenprairiecenter.com/sto...es/2138887043/
Location: Lower Level, Kohl's Wing,1240
Phone: (952) 941-3335
Hours:
Mon-Sat: 10am-9pm
Sun: 11am-6pm
Website: airtrafficonline.com

I did not see the Metal Earth kits from their website however.

Best Regards,

Wow. I have a few Star Wars kits, but there's a lot of new ones I didn't know about until now. Guess I'll be placing an order! Thanks!

LOL about the warning!

I was just at the Air Force museum in Dayton yesterday; met with a friend I worked with at Minot AFB that I haven't seen in 20 years. Had a GREAT time and also scored this SR-71 Blackbird! I was hoping for a B-17, but maybe I can find it when I go to Minnetonka this next week.

Best Regards,

Yeah, what is neat about that main site is you can get a 360° view of the models.

Well, I'm back from my trip to Minnesota. I scored quite a few models that I wanted to get. I have been to the metal Earth site, but since I was going to be at an actual store that sells the Metal Earth models, I opted to get them there.

Here is a photo of the selection they had at the time I was there. I have built the grand piano to give to my father-in-law and the drum set to give to a nephew. They play the respective instruments I am giving to them.

My hat's off to those who build these; they were a real challenge for me.

Best Regards,
