P-51 Mustang in 1/100-ish scale with my granddaughter!

My Father in Law Mark Jordan was kind enough to send me a model kit a while back and my grand daughter Miss Emma gave me a hand putting it together tonight. The model is laser cut aluminum and is about 1/100 scale. It holds together with tabs that are put through slots and twist. Emma, four years old, helped do the twist with a par of beading pliers. She crimped many of the rivet tabs during construction of this P-51. Almost a little Rosie the riveter...
About 45 minute build time!

Very nice. Nice to have a good helper like that.
Is that one of those Metal Earth models?

Always good to see grandchildren taking and interest in model building.

Well done Corey and Miss Emma!

Great job on the Metal Earth kit Corey! I have that very one on my shelf behind me right now. Those kits are really quite fun, and it's nice that you can include the younger ones.
