Thanks guys :D Really enjoyed this one. THe 1st biplane model I ever built was a 1/48 plastic kit of the Nieuport 17. Very beautiful bird. Got a thing for SPADs, Roland C.II, and the Pfalz D.III.
Started another build of the wife's choice. A Morane Sauliner N-Type by FG. As for the scheme of the Nieuport I now I've seent he insignia on the side before but cannot recall who it belongs to. I need more reference books on WW1. Wings of Hours used to have models avaliable from Gabriel Paniat. He had a line of Nieuport 17s and that scheme was on one of them. Sadly I never got that particular one before they dissapeared from the WOH site and now I can't find em avaliable anywhere :( Anyone know where they went off to? I saw some of Gabriel's models at E-Card but not the Nieuports. G1 |

Great build - looks good for any scale, and amazing at one-forty-teeny-scale.

Really impressive! I have some eye troubles as well as a result of a scratched cornea, but I think I make up for old eyes with patience and skill that I never dreamed I'd achieve in my youth.
How do you like Wings of War? I've been looking for a good game for WWI flyers that doesn't get too bogged down in detail but also captures the free flowing tactics of dogfighting. |
