Mini contest entry: Japan Coast Guard fleet.

Going to attempt making the whole JCG fleet, printed at 4 per A4 page. I'm using the models found here: ペーパークラフトのコーナー

I think each of them is correctly scaled, compared to themselves.

I started with the Kawagiri (PC-210):

And then i did the Erimo (PL-02):

These are a bit simple, but i like the look of them. Only thing i'd like to add is some heli's...

Was thinking of mocking up a Steve Irwin or Bob Barker. But it's kinda hard to find free blueprints of those 2 ships. They would be MURDER on your black ink supplies though... But if i do make those 2, is it possible to be on ecard with their revenue going to the Sea Shepherd foundation?

Woe is me... Sat down and attempted to make a tiny morsel that could be called a Bell 206... Rolled it through Pepakura and even though i still have to determine the average scale of the ships, i decided on a length of 25mm, which might still be too big.

As you can see from the screenshot, the width of the model is a mere 3mm...

legion - if you promise all the proceeds go to charity I dont take my 20% and you get 100% of sales instead of 80% to put towards charity. Its what I do with DGA already

And those would be my first ship models ever. Kind of exciting to me! Love that show.

Now, if Deadliest Catch boats ever show up.....
