1/32 Scale Rocket Models

Last couple of weeks have been working on some scale rockets.

After purchasing Peter Alway's Rockets Of The World book, been correcting some minor details and redrawing the rockets with bad scale issues.

Part of the reason is I want to do a display series from Mercury Redstone through Saturn V in 1/32 scale. Today I finished designing the set.

Need to print the following and as I build them, plan to post photos:
*Mercury Redstone
*Mercury Atlas
*Gemini Titan (just finished this one after 36-total hours of drawing)

This how they compare at 1/32 scale:
*Saturn V is 125.17" Tall / 12.375" Diameter [317.93cm/31.43cm]
*Saturn 1b is 72.93" Tall / 8.125" Diameter [185.24cm/20.64cm]
*Gemini Titan is 40.35" tall / 3.75" Diameter [102.49cm/9.53cm]
*Mercury Atlas is 30.12" Tall / 3.75" Diameter [76.51cm/9.53cm]
*Mercury Redstone is 25.89" Tall / 2.18" Diameter [65.76cm/5.54cm]

Plan to offer the Mercury Redstone (both Freedom 7 & Liberty Bell 7 are done), Mercury Atlas and Gemini Titan in 1/12 scale eventually.

Mike
