I agree totally with Wilja a very clean and neatly designed model, designing models that look right is harder than it sounds.

Seeing models like this is inspiring stuff

Nice! you're making the BuNo 164585, that is in Oberschlei▀heim museum of Germany. Great!
Recently I have finished the 164584, that crashed in January, 1995.

Working on it. Put it aside when I realized the subject was already built, but have concluded that there is no such thing as original, too many people in this world to ever have a truly original idea. I think if you google long enough you will find just about everything is being designed and built.
So with that thought in mind... I am just going to go forward with what makes me happy as this is a hobby. Will try to post update soon. None of my projects die they just get pushed around in the schedule

He Mike, just remember that the Hobby model is so rare that it's actualy not available for most of us mortals,I found it after 3 years and it is realy a handdrawn,80ties style model and the way you are designing it's up to today's standards...
BTW how and where do you publish your stuff?

Have never published yet. I expect to publish on Ecardmodels.com at some time in the near future. Yes I know that it is rare. I went on the hunt when you posted a while back that you werer looking for it. I followed that thread and then proceeded to design it in sketchup. I am working on cockpit and landing gears. Will probably bring it to the top again , although I do have an SR 71 that is waiting to be built in my stack . And then there is the Bristol 188 that looks very much like the lines of the SR 71, I am interested in seeing that one finish also.

igor113 - Deutsches Museum Flugwerft Schleissheim ?.8: X-31
Interesting article Billy, I have been pounding away on the PV2 Harpoon, got bogged down and left designing for awhile, then started building some of the hard stuff to see if I could get inspired again, X-31 mostly finished, but the hard part, layout and instruction not yet completed. Will get back to it soon I promise. Thanks for the link it got me thinking about it again, and the reference material is top notch...
