Martin Baker Ejection Seat
This is a Paper Model of a Martin Baker Ejection Seat, Mark 10 Series, a fair representation of the seat which had many variations from plane to plane and also country to country for the same planes. I am going to represent the assembly sequence in a you tube video that I created in the design phase of the project. Hope you like it.
Here is the you tube link to the start of the build it begins with a sub assembly of the guide rails at the back of the seat.If you double click the video and hit the full screen button on the lower right corner and then make the resolution button 720 HD you will get a pretty clear image of the cad programs images. And some images of the part during construction The next phase will be the seat bucket sub assembly

Awesome, Mike.
What is the scale, and will be a commercial model? And...are you thinking a plane for the seat in that scale? |

Wow. Simply wow. For about 4 months I haven't built anything due to a bad case of 'meh' syndrome. This has put me back on track and I really want to build this. Please post as soon as we can get hold of this model - I can't wait !

I remember, in an era long ago, working on F-4d's, the MB Mk 7. Hated that seat. Respected it more than any other part of the plane. Looks like a nice addition to most any aircraft that used the MB.

Isn't the big G.I. Joe 1/12th scale? The seat is very cool! I like seeing components of aircraft modeled like this. I hope more is done.

The big G.I. Joe is 1/6 scale-about 12" tall. DML has a bunch of military themed figures in the same scale. You could probably find a modern fighter pilot among them.
