Either you have a new macro lens and practicing zooming in on objects or your are teasing us with the microfibers of the paper structure. Zoom out and lets see what you got.

The only P-51 with that combination of colors that I can think of is the racer, Dago Red (N541OV), but the parts you are letting us see don't seem to quite match up with the airplane.
